BASIC BREAD

THIS WILL MAKE 1 LOAF OF BREAD FOR AN 8.5" X 4" DEEP LOAF PAN

1) PRE HEAT YOUR ELECTRIC OVEN TO 375
Your bake time will be approx. 24 minutes
OR
2) SET YOUR SUN OVEN OUT AND LET IT HEAT UP TO ABOUT 325
Your bake time will be approx. 30-32  minutes

MIX THE FOLLOWING DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER
3 cups of fresh ground flour from hard red,  or white hard wheat or combo.
*You can mix your grains as desired, just note you may need to add a teaspoon or 2 more water, as some grain flours are more absorbent than others.
1/8 Cup of granulated sugar
1 1/2 Table spoon of instant yeast
Salt
1/2 Cup Powdered Instant Milk or Powdered Alternative Milk
Mix all these dry ingredients together thoroughly.

ADD WET INGREDIENTS
1 med (room temp) egg or mix up your Powdered whole egg product for 1 egg
1/4 cup of oil - I use coconut oil, but you can use canola or vegetable
1 cup of water at 104-106F

USE YOUR CANDY THERMOMETER!
*Keep a couple extra teaspoons of the warm water aside
Mix your ingredients- so all is incorporated.
Electric mixer should be about 3 to 4 minutes
By hand about 5 to 7 minutes.
Your dough should not be wet, but a very, very slight tacky
If it's too dry, add 1 teaspoon of warm water.
Depending on your chosen grain flour and climate, you may need to add an additional tspn.

Place dough in to a bowl - cover and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Uncover and knead for 1 minute to get air pockets out.
Shape/form dough and place it into your loaf pan
Allow to sit for another 10 minutes
With a knife, make 3 to 4 lite slits on top of dough, to allow it to expand.
Place into your pre heated electric oven or sun oven and bake for time stated above.

TEMP TEST THE INSIDE OF YOUR BREAD WITH YOUR CANDY THERMOMETER
FOR ELECTRIC OVEN
*In 22-24 mins test the inside temperature of the bread-it should be about 175F -180F
FOR SUN OVEN
*In 30-32 mins test the bread it's perfectly done when the inside
temp reaches 165-170 degrees F

PLACE LOAF ON A COOLING RACK FOR 15 MINTUES
SLICE- EAT- ENJOY
